Being proud is something very difficult to achieve, however being thankful will give u the opportunity of becoming proud faster then a blink of an eye... Sure you may not like where you come from and that is why you are not proud, however you shall always be thankful of what you are because what you are or where you come from describes who you are. Thats why as long as your an American, Libyan, Palestinian, Mexican, or what so ever you will always remain who you are and will always have the blood of where you come from... so you might as well be thankful as to be proud because you will eventually have to deal with who you are for the remaining years to come...

You should be proud to be an American. Use your right to vote to get leaders elected who are also proud to be American and willing to do the tough things to put this country back on a better track.
