Hello

During spring break my family and I ( 13 year old daughter (me), mom is 50 and dad is 53) will be going on a trip out of the us. What do you think would be cheaper....

A 2,000 Globus guided tour of france, switzerland and italy and england for 16 days and around 2,000 dollars. Of course there are 3 people.

Or a trip to cancun for two weeks.

Thanks for your help

Depending on where you live, I think the tour of France, Switzerland, and Italy would be most worthwhile. It would be informative, fun, and different. Going to Cancun would also be fun, but keep in mind that alot of high schoolers [seniors] will be there also, so that may or may not be ideal. Concerning which would be cheaper, I honestly don't know. Do you mean $2000 for each person, or $2000 for everyone? And does the $2000 include airfare and lodging? If it inclues airfare and lodging, I think it would be cheaper, but I'm not 100% positive. For Cancun, you would have to pay for airfare, lodging, food, and souvenirs, possibly, whereas the tour of Europe lodging would be included [?], but you'd still have to pay for souvenirs. That being the case, i'm assuming Europe would be cheaper, but again, I'm not 100% positive.

Hope I helped! [& sorry that's really long and maybe repetitive!]

I would have to tell you to go to Cancun. I mean, yes, it's hot and beachy...but, some of my family has gone on a cruise to the Cancun, and they said that if you go on a cruise, a lot of the things on the beach are little to no cost. I know that a lot of times if you go on a Carnival Cruise, they actually give you all drinks (excluding alcohol) for free when you reach the beach. Everything on the ship'll be free, but, alcoholic drinks of course. Also, not to mention this, but you might want to bring a few extra $100 to spend on souvieners...you wouldn't want to forget that you rode on that big white boat, would ya???

Timeshare rentals in Cancun are pretty cheap. You can either try that or do a package deal, or AI. Either way it will still be a lot cheaper than the escorted tour.

hmm, i would rather go to Erupoe because Cancun is for more college kids and i don't think that your parents would like all of that lol plus there is so much more to see in Europe, the culture is wonderful and the guys aren't that bad either lol jk
