REMEMBER, REMEMBER THE 5TH OF NOVEMBER-
GUNPOWDER, TREASON, PLOT-
I SEE NO REASON WHY GUNPOWEDER TREASON-
SHOULD BE FORGOT!
Guy Fawkes & Other Conspirators tried to blow up a British Parliment Builiding in 1605- After being apprehended, they were convicted and beheaded in 1606. November 5th celebrates the Anniversary of the plot. It is also celebrated as a National Day of Thanksgiving by setting bonfires and burning Guy Fawkes in effigy.

Well I am not really sure, but are you referring to Richard Dawkins and Guy Fawlkes and an uprising in England? The night they had a bonfire before there was an uprising? These are only guesses but let me know what the answer you are thinking of is.V for Vendetta?

Well....I wasn't there in 1605 when it all started....so, in that sense, I don't "remember" it exactly....but I do have an idea of what it was all about.
I can't remember the last time I went to a fireworks display at this time of year....and we gave up having little indoor fireworks in my family many years ago.
