I'm a volunteer with Edmund Rice Camps, it's holiday camps for disadvantaged, marginalised and special needs kids. I go twice a year, about 1 week each camp. It's getting tough to take whole weeks off from work so I am now looking for something that I can do at the weekend. I am definitely hoping to do something with kids or young people, just seems more positive and hopeful to me. I feel that working with kids, you CAN have a positive impact.

I have two adopted soldiers through an organization, and I'm going to send Christmas gifts to St. Jude's Children.
Other than that, I would love to get some kind of volunteer service with a Lupus foundation.

The local Animal Control office and kennel. I help take care of the animals, help arrange for adoptions and help keep the kennels clean.
My cat is a rescue...I want to give something to all the other homeless animals that I couldn't rescue...my time and attention.

Not any longer. I would love to volunteer for the Altzheimer's Association, and do work to raise money for their Memory Walks.
