After today, I get the feeling there are only 2 teams in the NFL; that being the Colts and Patriots.
The good news is that anything is possible throughout the league, the bad news is that both quality teams are in the AFC, so the Super Bowl will be anti-climactic.

As of right now they have a shot of taking their division which is an automatic ticket into the playoffs. In the NFC ad record of 8-8 is often sometimes good enough to get into the playoff as a wild card as well so this is also a possibility.
They have a solid coach in Sean Peyton as well a good enough team. There is no reason why they cannot make the playoffs or even a 10-6 (if not 9/7 or 8-8 record) this season.
On the same hand anything can happen, its possible they they end up with the 2nd best record in the nfc (not likley, but possible).
I hope this helps

I think the Saint have a great change of making the playoff. The NFC is not that good this year and they are only 1 game back of the division leader Tampa Bay and the rest of their schedule is not that tough.

They're tied for second in their division with Carolina at 4-4. behind Tampa Bay at 5-4. They still have 8 games to play. Of course they have a shot.

The Saints I think has a really easy schedule. If they keep playing like this then they'll probably go to the playoffs.
Rams at Saints
Saints at Texans
Saints at Panthers
Bucs at Saints
Saints at Falcons
Cards at Saints
Eagles at Saints
Saints at Bears
I could really see the Saints actually winning their rest of their games.

By winning their game today they are atop their division.
So yes, they can make the playoffs. They just need to continue to play consistant football. That begins with Brees and Bush playing well.

I think they still have a shot at a winning season. I don't think they are going to do anything IF they do get to a playoff but I think they still ahve a chance to go. I would have to look at their schedule and try to guess who they can beat and who they can't.

i think they will only have too win 9 or 10 and if u look at they schedule they got rams, texans, panthers, bucs, falcons cardinals, eagles, and bears, and they probably win all of those except the panthers, bears, and eagles which will leave em 9-7 which should be enough for a wild card so yeh i think so

They were not playing all that great in the beginning. But look at them now...they are doing great. Like everyone else...they still have a chance!
