I would definitely recommend two book series,

the first set of book is Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, Breaking Dawn, and Midnight Sun. They are about a girl and a vampire falling into deep true love and of their many adventures together. The author is Stephenie Meyers and here is her website, http://www.stepheniemeyer.com/index.html

The second set of books is The Lightning Thief, The Sea of Monsters, The Titan's Curse, The Battle of The Labyrinth, and the final book's name has not yet been released. What these books are about is,

"The gods of Olympus are alive and well in the 21st Century! They still fall in love with mortals and have children who are half-god, half-human, like the heroes of the old Greek myths. Could you be one of those children? Join the adventures of Percy Jackson and his modern demigod friends as they fight mythological monsters and the forces of the titan lord Kronos. "

The author of these books is, Rick Riordan. If you want to learn more about these books, here is the website,

These are excellent books, that I have read. I believe that you will definitly like them, if you like fiction and action.

FRANK HERBERT- DUNE

STEPHEN R. DONALDSON- THE CHRONICLES OF THOMAS COVENANT THE UNBELIEVER

I think both of these series of books are very good and interesting for a young person. Lots of action, intrigue, vivid characters and suspense.
Look them up in Amazon and read the reviews.
