I don't like crude comedians, and Richard Pryor topped that list, but I did watch the movies he did with Gene Wilder.

On the other hand, Robin Williams is second on that list, and I have steadfastly refused to watch any movie that he was in.

I love Robin Williams and Richard Pryor was a genius in my opinion. He may be crude but he told it like it is.

I will not watch Steven Segall, Woody Allen, Ice Cube are some I can think of now.

Felines I like your sense of humor! I think Scooter has it right with Robin Williams as far as his movies go...I really think you would like Patch Adams, Mrs. Doubtfire, and Peter Pan.
I avoid watching any kind of crude, scary, cut em up stuff, and will not watch Madonna (we're on a roll tonight Plum!lol!)or Woody Allen-can't stand him, and I don't like to watch Tom Cruise(Scientology/Ego manic) but will see the one coming out with Meryl Streep because I am interested in the script.
I like to watch just about every movie Ben Affeck has done with the exception of Gigli..eek!

I do avoid slasher movies... all the horror movies that the kids love these days... and I dislike the reality cop shows and such... puts my heart in my throat!

Robin Williams has done several movies that I love... a funny one is RV... hysterical at points... Peter Pan, was awesome!and one of my favorite movies of all time is "What Dreams May Come"... as an artist, I found the graphics amazing! The story fascinating... thought provoking... though very sad at times...

Perhaps, I am a more tolerant at times to swearing.. I don't mind it if it's done properly! Of course I don't think it's proper to swear at someone (my twin does at times, especially on the road in traffic).... lol

I really liked Robin Williams in the movie "The Awakenings", where he played a psychiatrist. I think it is a true story. I don't like a lot of his movies because he talks too fast and I miss half of what he says. I don't like Eddie Murphy movies either. I'm sure ther are more but I can't think of any right now.

Tom Cruise - although he has done some good work, I can't get past his real persona.

Brad Pitt- have never understood all the hoopla about him

Angelina Jolie - same as Cruise

Never was a John Wayne fan

Don't watch slasher/horror movies....they no longer make good horror films as they did way back in the day

I am pretty tolerant of most actors, however I do not like the slasher ones and refuse to watch them.

Robin Williams in "Patch Adams" was a terrific movie based on a true story, and it is the story that will really move you.

I hate Jim Carrey...absolutely refuse to watch anything with him in it.

I however, like most of Robin Williams's stuff. The most moving was when he played the mentally challenged history professor based in New York city (I think). Starred with Jeff Bridges I think.

I was moved beyond measure by this movie, and I think you will not be able to say you "hate" Robin Williams afterwards.

I, on the otherhand thoroughly enjoyed Robin Williams Live on Broadway and almost all of his movies. At least the fairly comedic ones. I never liked that egoistic midget Tom Cruise. Cannot stand his movies or him in public at all. Or Nicole Kidman with one exception, when she was in The Peacekeeper with George Clooney and other than Gladiator and that ice skating movie (that I can't remember the name of) , I can't stand Russel Crowe, too full of himself. Reminds me of an Australian Tom Cruise. Maybe they are brothers with different fathers?
