Oddly, I've found myself completely alone for Thanksgiving (woo hoo!) and I'm giving my self a "mom's off" weekend. I live in Vegas, so I thought I'd spend a couple of days in St. George, Utah. I'd like to eat at some great local places... any suggestions?

For breakfast be sure to check out the Bear Paw Coffee Company. Wonderful breakfast, great waffles. They also serve a light lunch such as soups and salads if you are looking for something like that.
Try the Claim Jumper Steakhouse for a wonderful dinner. They have all kinds of food more than steaks. Great service and wonderful atmosphere.
If you want to try something different try the Gun Barrell Steak and Game House. I tried quail here and loved it. They have all kinds of great dishes besides wild game, and the place is decorated like a hunting lodge. Really good stuff!
If you like Mexican food you will want to check out Cafe Rio Mexican Grill. Awesome southwest cooking!
Another great Mexican place is Irmita’s Authentic Mexican Food, family owned. They serve true Mexican food. Good prices!
Dammeron Valley BBQ some of the BEST BBQ around! The people that own it have been to national BBQ contest and you can tell. WONDERFUL!!!
Have you ever tried Swiss food? You might want to check out La Soiree. They have wonderful Swiss Fondue on top of a number of other international dishes. They have everything from seafood to steaks. Great food, wonderful dinning experience!
I also really like the Brandin' Iron Steakhouse and Saloon. Nice place to get a drink and a great place for dinner. Been there forever!
