Have found vinegar and salt reasonably effective but don't know optimum proportions.

bleach. I just bleached my tea mug this morning. Half bleach, half water. Let it soak about 5 minutes, all clean. Just rinse it well after you bleach it.

Try a little clorox (maybe a tablespoon) in hot water & let it soak overnight; or use soft scrub on a sponge.

Baking soda paste works too. You can always put the cup in a dishwasher and they will come out that way too.

Usually a good dishwashing liquid will work. Try dawn.

If your into natural things. Try white vinegar. I also use it to clean my coffee pot.
