I go by the way they ask and answer questions..........I don't like "people" bashers or those who think that cursing is necessary........If someone doesn't like a particular team it's great to say so and state their opinions but when they starting bashing those who do like that team I wouldn't want them as a contact...........Many folks here are knowledgable in a variety of topics and know how to post and express their opinions..........Those are the folks I look for as contacts.......Yes I check the E-Mail and I do respond but before I respond I will check on that particular posters questions and answers..............CAT

I see if they seem knowledgable in a particular topic. If they have one answer and its completely off kilter, then I don't add them. If I see a person who really seems to know what they're talking about, and I really like some of their previous answers, I either add them or send them a message asking if its okay for me to add them. I check my email about once a day. I reply after I have come up with a well thought up response. If they had the time to write me a thoughtful message, then I like to have the courtesy to do so for them, too.

Yes, I respond to emails sent my way. Honestly.. I don't really add a lot of people. If I do its because I like their questions or their a fan of my eam. Occasionally I'll add someone who's added me but theres no real gurantee I'll add ya back.

hm, this might be a little bit more english and a little less portuguese or french, they look about the same

i'd add someone when they show intrest in a specific subject that you look for, in your case, baseball, i try to look at their profile and see if they seem like a generally nice person

I've only ever added one, and I enjoyed his content (still do).

Conversely, I've been added by several dozen posters, probably for the same instinctive sense that compels us to check out recent, roadside wrecks -- just gotta see how bad it is.
