that is easy. Just cut the band so that it is a string, hold one end behind the fly and pull back with the other end and let go. If the fly is in the right position you can even aim it at someone!!

No but sometimes with flies who buzz around my monitor now and then, I can catch easily with my fingers.
I know a young girl who is so stealth-like she can catch flies in a jar so fast.
She caught some flies one year in Summer that were sitting on my knee by just doing so.
Impressive!

Yes - initially with the rubberband itself, but as I grew in skill and cunning I switched to shooting little paper pellets from a rubberband. There is actually a lot of skill involved.

Remember! When Charlotte wrote "Super Fly" in her web?!?

Yes. A long time ago, when I worked third shift at the airport. We had those big Mayflies. Easy targets.

no, panzerfaust was invented by Sherman Enshineers to do just that... rubber bands are ineffective against flies...

yes when I was younger I had a rubber band gun and what shoot them all the time. It was awesome
