I talk to so many people in the course of a day that have this futile feeling about the corruption that is running rampant in Washington and on State levels too.I don't think any of these people actually are voters ,because they don't even trust that their votes will even be registered by the New computerized machines.Does this scare anyone else like it does me?

You can kick them out but you'll still end up with someone similar. "I'm for it" and "I'm against it" for no reason in particular except they sit on opposites sides of the aisle like chickens scratching for votes.
The other thing is American politics and Americans in general have to stop being so childish.

1.You can't complain about high gas prices and continue to buy the biggest damn truck/SUV made. Politican have to make this clear but they'll P. O. the oil companies. The same goes for any serious attempt at alternative fuel. Mazzola corn oil in my gas tank doesn't count.
2. A line has to be drawn with immigration. The US cannot be a dumping ground for everyone else's citizens. Those clowns have to stay home and fix their own damn countries. But no politician will say that for fear of losing the hispanic vote. Hillary's non-response was proof of that.
3. Be honest "Rah Rah Kick some butt" obviously is not the approach to foreign politics. By all means retaliate if attacked and head others off but we have to pick our battles like any other conflict. But by saying that most of the Southern vote will be lost. Southerners think everything can be solved by a bullet but hate when they get shot at.
4. Forget the anti-gay crap. There are more important things to be concerned about. Like this huge a** deficit and a dollar falling faster than Bush' rating and I.Q.
5. Health care address the damn thing don't go for safe issues like insuring children only. Jeez I hear the same thing over and over again: How do we pay for it. You'll get a lot more for the money than we're obviously getting from Iraq.
6. The environment. The Earth is a closed system. Unless our politicians have some way of getting air, water, fuel stocks etc from off the planet rather than addressing pollution. You may as well stick a fork in the Earth now. It's done!!
7. Quit lying about the economy: record foreclosures, Walmart's sales are down?, Fed cuts interest rates knowing full well foreign investors can get a better return elsewhere.
With a dollar as weak as ours of course you'll get inflation. It's inevitable with all the junk we import. A weak dollar makes that stuff much more expensive for Americans. And interest rate cuts won't help that. Who does the Fed think they're fooling? Certainly not Wall Street. Sorry.
8.Fix the FDA that allows ineffective and harmful drugs to be sold openly as well as tainted food.
These are the issues any serious politician will adress. But I wouldn't hold my breath. It ain't gonna happen. Any smart politician or individual that will attempt to address these issues is probably out of office and looking at Yahoo answers

Understand the truth of the matter... we have a one party government with 2 clearly defined factions. It does not matter which of the two factions within the party you support.

Does anyone not remember the smokescreen in Florida during the Bush/Gore election. Or the fact Kerry so graciously 'conceded' his run for office near the end?

The simple fact here is that our votes no longer count. It is a clever facade to keep us comfortable in the illusion that we actually have a choice in the matter. The next US President has already been bought and paid for, and I can assure you that person is not on the side of We The People.

When you consider that several members of our government have been witnessed attending Bilderberg meetings in secret with other foreign heads of state (which is considered an act of Treason) it should give us all a strong cause for more than just concern.

The bottom line here is that our trusted government is a puppet regime guided and controlled the globalist elite. They are manipulating more than just America. Already, our current President has signed documents that effectively Eliminate the United States, and also grant the office of President sole jurisdiction and power. Power to inflict martial law upon the American People among other things. This was done without the the knowledge or consent of Congress.

These emergency camps that FEMA is building around the country are not for emergencies. These are Interrment Camps (concentration camps) where the Government intends to depopulate the US.

Has no one noticed all the cameras going up? Or that your vehicle tags and inspection stickers now come equipped with RFID Chips? Or that every Legal Immigrant must get a new Green Card issued (one equipped with an RFID Chip).
Do none of you realize yet that the new drivers licenses and US Passports will also have RFID Chips? Some Companies now require their employees to have RFID Chips implanted in their bodies. I can assure you that these companies are arms of Globalist Elite controlled companies.

If it has a basis in FACT it is not propaganda.

At this point in time, we all have the choice to be the blind sheep that follow on command and submit to their hypnotism and programming, or We can stop living in fear of losing all we have as individuals and start thinking as a free society with a common interest...protecting our inalienable rights. The thing everyone needs to realize is that if we continue to blindly follow as sheep, we will lose it all anyway.

Time to Wake Up to the reality of what is truly going on here.
Fear can be our Strength... or fear can be our weakness.
When the Grip tightens around Your Family's throats, what will fear be for YOU?

None of these people have done anything that is actually criminal! There is no basis for an impeachment other than our displeasure at the way things are being run by most of our elected officials. The words of the Constitution do not allow the people to vote on this, it is in the hands of the House of Representatives (Senate & Congress), they don't seem to want to do anything; I have even read the Constitution to see what we could do about getting rid of the House, nothing there that I could find! Anyone else find anything?

Well, I am not sure that voting can change anything anymore! This era is now part of the past... Rep, Dem same things but different ways to reach the same goal... They keep peoples busy with futiles programs to keep them out of the real ones that means something. Well the mass is easily dumbfound and cheated all over, and you know what? They like it that way!
Peoples are scared of changes, and politicians always lies, and the more they lie the less it changes, so the mass feel still comfortable with the ideas that things do not change and still keep hope that they rest did not change either... Talks about Ostrich behavior!!

Most thinking Americans will agree with you.

One way to throw the bums out, would be to find an honest candidate that is true-ly dedicated to helping re-instate the U.S. Constitution, down size-ing government at all levels, and who will cut off the funding for each and every un-necessary government boon-doggle.

"We the People" must unite behind that candidate, no matter what kind of "DIS-INFORMATION" we are fed!

An example of dis-information:

Strike Ron Paul – He is not savvy on Foreign Policy.

The Truth is; Ron Paul is on the Congressional House Foreign Relations Committee and would know more about foreign policy than an estimated 99.9% of Americans!

He also is the ranking member of the Congressional House Banking/Finance Committee, and has the absolute inside dope on where yours & mine TAX money is being wasted....errr spent. He knows what & where the billions & billions of tax money is being spent......much of it on foreign soil!! That's why he wants to withdraw from police-ing the world.....We Americans Simply Cannot Afford It!!
We're Going Broke!!!

If enough of us compare "Un-Buy-Able By Special Interest Groups", Ron Paul to the other candidates and UNITE for the common cause of re-unifying America again.......We eventually can Throw The Bums Out, and have trust in our elected officials, that agree with the Ron Paul Platform, once again.
Thank you.

All I can see is a lot of useless propaganda in response to your original post.

I'm not sure that there is a good answer to this question because there is no good answer to a feeling of hopelessness. Believe me, I feel the same way.

It'd be nice to see a top-ranking official who is NOT a multi-millionaire. Maybe we can start by putting limitations on the magnitude and "generosity" of lobbying groups? The fact that a politician has to pander to lobbyists in order to gain funding for re-election efforts seems to be at odds with their pledge to keep their constituents' best interest at heart.

Yes, its scary. But we must try all we can. If we can effect change and get back to the Constitution, we can save America.

First step is first. We need to get a CONSTITUTIONALIST in the White House who will END ALL unconstitutional programs.

If that dosent happen, we will simply see america (notice little a this time) crumble into a lethargic over medicated, underarmed, over monitored, parented by big government people.

Check out this site for all the 411 that you need.

I commend all Americans who are trying to learn more about the candidates before the 2008 election. In my opinion, a uniformed voter is down right dangerous. I am supporting the Republican Ticket for their stance on Foreign Policy. I do not believe that the ticket will lead with Rudy, Mitt or Ron Paul and this is why….

Strike Rudy - He is responsible for nixing the Line Item Veto, pro-abortion, he spends too much! Check his record!

Strike Mitt - He is trying to sell us on the fact that he is Ronald Reagan's Clone which is so not-true. Blames his MA record on him having to work in a Liberal State, He is a FRAUD and McCain called him on it in the 10/21/07 debate!

Strike Ron Paul – He is not savvy on Foreign Policy.

The following website will provide you with party information, candidate detailed information as well as voting records, public statements and pretty much anything you need to help YOU decide!

It will also show you information about the State Primary Dates, How the Primary Process works, Electoral College, and other internet resources.

I'm pretty sure that "we the people" who all "know" that we're getting hosed don't really know what they're saying. Take a Government course and you'll understand why so many people hate government.

We're all getting hosed because no matter what you do, you can't please everyone, especially not in government.

that answer is simple, people are LAZY period. why do i say that? very simple we the people have the power of the VOTE and even when you vote for someone and they turn out to be crooked, that power of the VOTE is also a very powerful tool to use against them. here in Florida we have an elected official who was busted doing really stupid stuff, he shut his office door and even jumped over a chain link fence when they came to get him. he was immediately thrown out and a emergency for for an interim to finish his term. YOUR VOTE WORKS WONDERS, IN MASS IT WORKS MIRACLES.
