i need to know if there are any ferret breeders in missour si i can buy a ferret by my home i live in independence mo.

I've had ferrets for 14 years and know of no reputable breeders here in our area.
May I suggest checking out 'The Kansas City Ferret Hotline', ran and operated by Dr. Bobbi McCanse. Bobbie's shelter is generally full of loving, beautiful ferrets needing someone just like you to adopt and love them!!! Bobbi will also help educate you on ferrets needs and expense if you are a first time owner. Why not check out the ferret rescue groups instead? They have ferrets they need good homes for and people just keep dumping their pets on them---the cost would be lower than $300 but remember that you'll need a cage for them, the larger the better. And ferret food since they can't eat dog food and don't get full nutrition on cat foods.
