You will get distorted sound on ANY system if you put the volume on full.

If you feel that the stock system is not up to your "loudness", you can always yank it out and redo the whole system. I'd also recommend you to go to an ear specialist if you are used to listening to anything on full.

But being a teenager who likes to listen to his music on full in his Ford all the time (and swears the Ford never goes into distortion; and that people who don't are "old") {As you've so kindly informed me on PM}, a BMW will be wasted on you because you'll never learn to appreciate the refinement of the car with all that loud music. very properly properly you're gonna opt for an amp too to make those subs sound sturdy. Take your head unit out and purely connect the posi and unfavourable wires to the matching posi and unfavourable wires. does not truly count variety which of them you employ. in case you get an amp although, you will opt for a distinctive head unit reason you're able to hook them up with the pink/white RCA inputs. i'm uncertain how the Beemer head gadgets are. And in case you do no longer comprehend, head unit are the radio area.
