No I don't...
I first heard the short version and just now got to hear the long version of this phone conversation between Tucker and Mr. Chapman.
I hear a Father disciplining a son whose girlfriend was making threats and stirring up problems between the family members.
Every family has at one time or another gotten on to their children who were hanging around people who were a bad influence.
It is extremely obvious Mr. Chapman was correct in his assessment of the whole situation concerning his son Tucker and his girlfriend.
While Mr. Chapman is talking to his son ~the very son~ whose is recording this conversation is lying to his Dad on this tape about his girlfriends intentions BECAUSE THEY WERE NOT JUST HIS GIRLFRIENDS INTENTIONS ~ OBVIOUSLY!!!
Shame on A&E for getting involved and promoting a rebellious son.

Yes and NO, I'm sure he will keep going on as "Dog" the hunter, but as for televised that part of his life is over..He made his money, now if he was smart he would keep his mouth shut and enjoy it. Dog has given allot of people he has apprehended quite a few breaks, even coin, place to stay, food. If some black chick threatens him then sure he used the correct term, just like if she was threatened from a white person, I'm sure racial slurs would follow. this is human we all abuse with our mouths.

I know that most TV shows would be canceled if we heard the stars expressing themselves without knowing people are listening. Dog is no different from any other undercover bigot who uses those terms among friends and family all the time. I never watched his show anyway, I just cant take him and his motley crew seriously with their get ups.

On A&E maybe, but not everywhere. Look at the guy from CBS that said 'nappy headed hoes', he is being reinstated to the network! I think it should be though, because for one he is a convicted felon himself, secondly he is in the business where he arrest people of all races. How does that look with him being heard saying those degrading remarks. However I do not agree with the way his own flesh and blood set him up for failure. His racism would have come out on its own.

Nope it's not over by a long shot. And for the comments he said about his son's girlfriend.....he probably felt like this the whole damn time but he said what felt and now he being penalized for this. Everyone is titled to their own opinion. The son got pissed and recorded the call, sold it to a tabloid and made money off of this but if you really think about this, he probably alienated his family over this.

this may sound rather strange but I feel bad for him. Like... his worst nightmare just happend. Not to say he didn't have it coming but, I still pity him. I used to find the show entertaining.
PS: I'm black.

No his career will be just fine. It just won't be on TV. I would think you would certainly become a jaded racist being a bounty hunter. How could you not.
It would be like being a server, it just gets to you.

Of course and it very well should be. There is no excuse for what he did. It was no accident. We don't need his kind on television. His kind belongs elsewhere.
