How do I began to map a cemetery to record names, dates,etc?

The cemetery is very old, about 100 years and the graves are not in order. It's about an acre of land. Some graves don;t have any tombstones. Appreciate your help.

Does the cemetary have an office if so start there. Does it have a Church nearby? if so go there. If these 2 dont apply then your best resort is the County Seat Office--the death records section and hope that lists the site of interment. Then Check the Funeral Home records in the surrounding towns. Hope this Helps!!!!
