Oh yeah just look at why ______ people jump high or have a longer hang time or have a better 3-point shot!!!!
Now when I was 5'10 and in 8th grade I started dunking. (a little) but as I grew into my body (6'6 now I true abilities came out. I'm not trying to say my height has anything to do with it but I find players 5'5 and 5'10 some of the hardest workers and some of the most talented players Spud Webb, Nate Robinson

Absolutely. The very fact that a person is tall doesn't necessarily make for a good basketball player. I speak from experience and being 6'5" I, of course, was expected to play and do well. That simply wasn't the case and really I sucked at it. I could never develop good ball handling skills and it made it tough on the other guys because of it. Still, I played and, yes, I could dunk it just fine, but they had to get the ball to me and that's when butterfingers kicked in.
There are naturals out there. I knew a few and although not really tall enough for what they consider optimum height for playing, they compensated for it by their ball handling and extraordinary ability to hit long shots.
There are those who are naturally gifted in all sports, the arts, cooking, housecleaning, and just about any activity you can think of.

ya in a way, but usually those naturally gifted tend not to work hard. The people who work hard tend to be the best. For example, michael jordan wasnt that good in high school but her practiced a lot now hes the king of basketball. Lebron james practiced like crazy when he was a kid, he wasnt just born with skill, he worked for it. all nba players work for their skill even though they dont talk about it that much. so dont think someone i just naturally good becuase the usually do something to make themselves better.

Well of course, just as someone can be naturally gifted in singing, they can also be gifted in other things.
