My son is interested in this game, however, I'm concerned about frequent use of cuss words. Is this like other games where they're used mostly in the telling of the story where you can avoid them, or are they spread out through the action of the game?

Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

In the single player, there is no cursing other than the word 'damn' here and there. Online though, there are quite a lot of players who curse (especially the 12-14 year olds who think it makes them look older). If you decide to let your son play the game online, there are parental controls on the 360 that will allow you to limit your son from chatting with people who aren't on hit friends list, or prevent the voice chat entirely.

there is very mild cursing in the game, used only in the gameplay of the game in the first two levels, as far as I can remember, it seems its no worse than most games of this calabre, a great game tho........how old is your son?

In Single Player NO, there are no "F-bombs"
In ANY ONLINE Multiplayer = YES, more than a ship full of sailors.
