Check the wiring around the rear of the truck and the trailer wiring connector and wires>

You need to find the short in that circuit.
If it is just when the parking lights are on, it is probably at the front somewhere.
If it also affects the tail lights it could be in either wiring set.
If you have a towing package it could also be in the connections or that wiring addition if the problem also affects your tail lights.

There is a short somewhere in your taillight wiring. Change the wiring harness that goes to your taillights and fix it with a new wiring harness. I have owned four brand new dodges and they have all had electrical problems just as my warranty is out. You also could have the backers to the taillights checked and make sure you have a good bulb in there.

If you have a tow package you might want to check your towing harness too.
