If your a gamer then a Core 2 Duo, if your an engineer of video editor the Quad Core is the best.

intel core 2 extreme qx6850 quad core cpu. Get it from tigerdirect for $1000 some dollars.

By white papers, yes the guy above me is correct. If you are going to buy it I would my a core 2 duo extreme not the quad core

I would get Dual Core CPU's and if you can, on dual CPU motherboards
