I want to know if there is a quick and easy way to find out if I can act before I consider it as a serious career. I havn't acted for a few years (middle school) and want to find out if I have a chance at it.

Try an audition.
If you really think that you can, then try it. If you can really FEEL the emotion of being in another's shoes and convince people that you are that person, the sure you can.

try out for community theatre productions in your area, if you get cast. maybe yes, and if you don't get cast, maybe no.
