First you need common denominators in your question.
so what number can both of these go into? 15.
so you multiply 4/5 by 3/3, so you still have 4/5 but not reduced. You get 12/15. Then you multiply 2/3 by 5/5 and then the answer is 10/15. Then you just subtract 12/15-10/15.
Then you get 2/15! This can't be reduced. So you stop there.

4/5-2/3
remember, the denominators have to be the same. in this case the least common multiple is 15, so multiply 4/5 by 3 so that the denominator, 5 will become 15
12/15
same with 2/3
12/15-10/15
answer 2/15

find the same denominators and how ever many you multiply the first denominator by to get the common denominator you must multiply the top # by (numerator) the same amount example:
4/5
to get 15 with 5 you must multiply 5X3 so you do that to the top to 4X3=12
4/5=12/15
same with 2/3
3X5=15
2X5=10
2/3=10/15
12/15 - 10/15
(12-10=2)
12/15-10/15=2/15 (and it can not be simplified so there is your answer!)
