How do I delete songs and podcasts from my ipod nano?

Step by step, please. I can't find these particular instructions on the internet.

You open iTunes. Then go to Music Library. There's a list of songs there. All you do is uncheck the songs that you DON'T want on your iPod, or if you want to delete the songs permanently, right click on the song title and press delete.

To delete several songs at once, press Ctrl and then click on each song name, then right click and delete.

To get rid of the podcasts, go to iTunes > Podcasts. Right click and delete. Easy peezie =)
