This is not a reprint, but an 1828 book in fine shape, titled Nicholas Nickelby.

Absolutely nothing. Now a copyright of ten years later, about when the Dickens work actually began coming out in serial form, would be what you'd want to be looking for. Dickens was only 16 in 1828. He started working as a law clerk in 1827 and became a stenographer when he was 17 (which would have been no earlier than 1829). It was 1836 before he wrote his first book, "The Pickwick Papers," in serial form. Which was two years after he became a political journalsit. And "The Pickwick Papers" were published in serial form from March 1836 to October 1837.

"The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby" was his third book and it was published in serial form from March 1838 to September 1839. An 1828 publication date is a sure sign of a fake.
