What is the difference between waffle and thermal? They're different right?

My friend thinks waffle type shirts are different from thermal ones but i think theyre different cause thermal are like thermal underwear

Thanks for the answers guys. So basically i think the difference is that waffle shirts are thinner and thermal dont necessarily have to be waffle.

I sort of agree with both of you. You could say that a thermal is more like underwear. Like what you would wear skiing or some where cold under you clothes. Not all thermal underwear have a waffle texture. They can be silk, cotton, merino wool, smooth, waffle, etc.

Waffle could be any piece of clothinging with a texture that looks like, well, a waffle. To me it is or of a texture and fabric type. Can be outer wear, underwear etc.

waffle weave blankets enable air with the aid of so your babys pores and skin can breathe and that they wont overheat while there asleep, the thermal ones could make the child overheat, yet I certainly have the two and characteristic in no way had issues in basic terms verify you dont wrap them up too plenty or they are in a position to get too warm and overheat. x

I personally think that they're the same; after all, they look the same. Maybe there's just more than one name for that type of shirt.
