Hi.
I would like to know if I should remove my laptop battery while using the tranformer at home.

Should I leave the battery on the computer? Should I remove it?

I am geting different opinions.

You will also get different opinions here.

In my opinion leave your battery in but run it flat about once a month to preserve its life.

Leave it in, as long as the battery isn't getting too hot (which it shouldn't in any well designed laptop) it'll be just fine.

Though if you aren't going to be using your laptop for a period of several months getting the battery down to 40% charge and sticking it in the fridge would be a good idea (it's also what you should do with any extra batteries you may have bought, but don't go overboard and freeze a battery).

Oh and don't bother with discharging unless the battery guage is acting up (which should mean less discharging then once a month) or you actually need the full run time of the battery.

Leave it in. Newer batteries are not suppose to have a memory when charging but they usually do anyway. Leave it in and yes like the other person said. Drain it and fully charge it once in a while.
