Depends on what you mean by successful. If you mean as far as grades, work ethic, career, etc, then I was moderately successful in high school, but an underachiever. I am also moderately successful now, and still an underachiever. :o) But I'm happy this way. I only need enough money to have a little bit extra to spend on a good time now and then.

No I was not successful in High School. After I got out of the service I turned things around and went to trade school and I think I did okay for the education I got. Did not go to college.

I was very successful in high school. I did a lot of productive stuff. I was one of the smartest in my class, and I was in Student Government and the National Honor Society. Plus I graduated with honors. So I was successful in high school and I will excel in college and in med school.

this is stereoptypical, however, it is not untrue. nerds CAN get successful after high school, 'ugly girls' become attractive and popular girls become not so good looking. for nerds, it is mainly because since from bullying and being somewhat socially awkward, they tend to focus on their schoolwork and start to get determined and work harder and harder for it, focusing on their future at first. and once they reach their future, they can then relax somewhat since they are now successful. it is because of their success and hard work is to what makes a hot woman attracted to them. for 'ugly' girls, it is only a stage they go through during high school with the pimples, overweight etc. they grow and the acne disappears, revealing the skin. Case closed with them. as for popular girls, their focus on their beauty and popularity is to what leads to their downfall. they tend to party more and not care about school, which leads to a brighter future. as such, once the future comes, they will be in too much despair since they don't focus on aspects of high school like education and hard work. hope this works for you, hon'.

I was grossly average in high school. I make a good living now, if that is what you are asking.

The curse of being voted "most likely to succeed".
Until my name is spoken along side Gates and Buffet, I'll still be hard at it.
