No, I don't think it makes you sound spoiled at all. If your parents ask you to write down what you want, and you know how much they tend to spend for you each year, then put down items that you know they can afford.

For the people complaining about the laptop, all I have to say is that a $300 laptop is extremely cheap. You could probably get it along with the 2 games, the case and the LAN card for $500 or so, which is a whole lot cheaper than some of the premium video game systems out there.

No its not alot seeing as last year i got a laptop that was 1300 and a new cell phone, 500 dollars in gift cards and other things like shoes, coach purse. You dont seem spoiled..if your parents can afford it and you appreciate it then how is that spoiled. Dont listen to those other people on here i think there just mad b/c they have ungrateful, ignorant out of control kids...I am greatful for everything i get and im sure you are...your list is fine! Merry Christmas and i hope you get everything. And when people say im spoiled i simply reply no im Blessed by God!

I'd keep it at a Lap Top. That is over a thousand bucks right there alone. Everything togeather may run up to 2,000 bucks. Even in my biggest Chrstmas ever I'm willing to be that I didn't get more than 400 bucks worth stuff, and that was when I got both a Nintendo and a Bike in the same year (I was 7 and it was 1987, so that was a big deal)

When I make out my Christmas list I put several expensive items on it.....I don't expect to get all of them and I suspect neither do you. A Christmas Wish List is just that....A WISH list. My list has things that I would like to have, things that would be fun to have that I wouldn't necessarily spend my own money on. If I get them for Christmas....thats awesome. If I don't....I'm fine with that too. Christmas lists are also great guidelines for your family member to know what kind of things you like. I wouldn't worry about your list or whether people think you are spoiled. As long as you don't expect to receive everything on your list and remember that Christmas is not really about the gifts you receive anyways!

I personally like to have a longer list with items at various price levels, so I guess I don't have a problem with your list. You go from books (not expensive) to laptop (expensive) with various prices in between. That way, people know kind of what you're into, what you don't already have, and still have options with cost.

My theory is...ask for what you want. If you don't ask, they won't know what you want. However...don't expect to get everything you want. This list is pretty big!! I have no idea what kind of budget you are looking at, but in my world, you might get one or two things off the list :)
Have a merry merry chirstmas!

Make your gift list and place the items you would like most in order of priority. Instead of asking for shoes and clothes ask for a gift card instead. Same goes for the books.

It depends on who is asking for the list. If it's just one person, then maybe it is a bit much. But I used to put tons of stuff on the Christmas list and send it out to all my aunts and uncles so they could coordinate on who bought what.

Seems excessive....My husband and I are financally well off, and I would never spend that kind of money for Christmas on one child. But I guess is depend on your parents financial status and how many children in your family.
