I doubt Cpt. Ahab thought his white whale was cute but a dolphin is a much friendlier creature. Albinism occurred in several documented cases in cetaceans. In Australia they even named a white humpback that lived along their east coast.

Unfortunately, like most albinos, he has skin cancer.

Yes they exist, but they are not "albino" dolphins.

It is called the hump-backed dolphin. the coloration changes with age... calves are generally dark gray, they become mottled (spotted) as young adults, and pink as mature adults.

I spoke back your different question, yet i might prefer to answer somebody who spoke back right here. they do no longer stay in basic terms in hong-kong. They stay alongside the coasts of Africa, to Cameroon, around to the Indian Ocean, and out to Madagascar, the pink Sea, and the persian gulf. greater desirable than 1000 inhabit the Pearl River delta in China, and over 500 are cutting-edge alongside South Africa's cape. they do no longer seem to be categorized as "endangered". they're "archives undesirable" as reported via the IUCN pink checklist, that's the legitimate checklist of threatened, endangered, or extinct animals. i got here upon a internet site this time to decrease back me up, extremely of in basic terms my e book!
