Most any brand should work so I'd get a couple different dealers competing for your business. They will give free estimates but be sure you're comparing apples to apples. You don't want one of them quoting you for a 12 seer and another for a 16 seer ( seer is the energy efficient rating, the higher the number, the more efficient ) If you're updating from an older inefficient model you may also be eligible for an income tax deduction. Check with the dealers on that too, I think it has to be at least a 14 seer on the new unit.
