Yes. Muslims are required to give something like 10 percent of their money to help the poor. Muslims also need to go to Mecca and their are costs associated with that such as airplane tickets and hotels. Prodestant Christians have to pay their church so that the church has money for property and taxes and other stuff. All Christians are supposed to donate money to the poor. I am not entirely sure how much Jews have to pay, but I am pretty sure that they are also urged to donate money to the needy. Both the Jewish and Christians give their friends and family presents(Jews for Hanukkah and Christians for Christmas), but I doubt that it is required to be in that faith. It is more of a tradition.

Does having no religion mean you stand or believe in nothing? Do you celebrate Christmas or get presents? If is, How can you say that is a Christian expense if nonChristians also spend money on it. Maybe when you grow up, you'll realize that Beliefs are not about money spent but what guides your life and morals and your future. I hope so. SOme of your problems you keep referring to on your profile may be helped and some stability come to your life when you mature and decide you didn't just "happen". God may have something to do with it.

organised religions need to pay for their buildings and expenses so they get this off their followers. In some cases it is via a voluntary offering, in others it is a tithe system, where you donate a percentage of your income to the church.
Even though it seems to be a little dodgy it is just practical for the operation of the church...
I also have no religion btw, but I find them, along with other types of mass delusion, really interesting.

It does, it costs a whole bunch of money. For example some Christians pay 10% of their income for church, people that visit church every Sunday have to buy church clothes, gas, meetings etc.
BTW I don't have a religion either :D

No religion! Lucky girl. All one needs is morality to carry them through life.
I was brought up Catholic and attended (shudder) Catholic school with (horrors) The Nuns.
Which explains why I now worship Satan. (kidding)
I quit all worship when I was 14 because of the endless contradictions I found.
And, they all ask for donations too!!

I'm a Christian and I don't think there are any deposits, entry fees or dues. I support my church, but that's only because if I didn't there wouldn't be a church to go to.

They all do in some way, shape, or form.
If God was real and so almighty, money wouldn't be necessary.
