Re-arrange & Simplify:

4/3r-3>r-1/3r+2/3
4/3r-3>2/3r+2/3

4/3r-2/3r>2/3+3

2/3r>11/3

2r>11

r > 11/2 or r > 5.5

Yes, you're obviously confused. In particular, you didn't tell us what the problem was. Are you looking to simplify the inequality? Find all r for which the inequality is true. (Those boil down to the same thing.) Something else?

Here's one hint -- you can treat inequalities almost as you can treat equations. If you add or subtract something from both sides, they remain true. If you multiply both sides by a POSITIVE number, they remain true. If you multiple both sides by a NEGATIVE number, they change direction but otherwise remain true.
