then f(3)=0,

i dont understand this. is it true or false. and i need an explanation, thanks!

f is composed of three pieces:
piece 1 - for x < 0
piece 2 - for x in [0, 4]
piece 3 - for x > 4

If x = 3, which piece does it fall in? What is the equation of f(x) for that piece? So what is f(3)?
