Thinking of purchasing the above for grandson but as a novice to the world of Pc's need some advice on the above and in particular it's ability as a gamer.Seen it priced @ £300.00 which is about the right price budget wise.Would'nt require it to be the most sophistacated machine but at the same time handle games similar to "The Simms" .Could I please ask for any answers to be of a sensible nature and not too technical.If it turns out to be unsuitable maybe someone can recommend an alternative bearing in mind the budget.

Whilst the previous responder is absolutely correct, he has is evidently unaware that this particular model does not have a PCI-e x16 slot, only PCI and a PCI-e x1.
The suggestions for improvement are not compatible with this PC.

That PC is a decent business desktop. Its integrated graphics is too slow for games. You would need to add a PCIe graphics card to improve gaming performance:
Cheap options: Geforce 8400GS, 8500GT or ATI HD2400 Pro.
Better: ATI HD2600XT or Geforce 8600GT.
