my ipod went through the wash, will it be ok?

Question

i accidently left my ipod in my pants pocket when i was doing my laundry, but i didnt realize it until i was moving my clothes to the dryer.
now it wont turn on and i was just wondering if there is any chance at all that it will be ok?

Heh. I'm sorry, I know you probably want me to say "Oh, sure! It'll be fine!" but I think it's all screwed up now. It's like dropping it in a bunch of water and soap and then spinning it around real fast.
