The World Series is to determine who is the best MLB baseball team. No matter what the numbers show, the Red Sox ARE the best team in baseball right now because they are 2007 World Series Champions!!

The Sox won the series, but I don't think they were the best team. They would have gotten it handled to them by the Yanks. Yanks won the season series. They were better. We'll see next year...but probably New York, it's too tough to repeat in MLB.

I think you are right, it would would be difficult to go with someone other than the Red Sox after they swept through the palyoffs
