Unfortunately, there are way too many variables for someone to give you a definative answer. What year, make and model is the car? Bodykit? Spoiler?

Also, do you want the door Jambs, gas flap inside, trunk area and engine bay painted as well? One more thing to consider is the shop doing the work. Some places will just spray it right on top of the existing paint. Others will strip it down to bare metal, then prime it and paint it. How long it will last depends on one thing: surface preparation

A good paint job at a professional shop runs around 2500-3000.00 for a color change excluding bodywork like dents or rust. Some shops like Maaco or Earl Schieb will charge 3-500.00 but they are pretty poor paint jobs...just a quick tape job, scuff sand and sprayed with single stage paint...not base coat/clear coat that comes on cars from the factory.
