Well well, of all the people to be asking this one it's Mr. Camera shy himself. The guy who has one photo of himself dressed as the hayseed hunchback of Notre Dam at a ZZ Top concert. The same guy who operates at the cutting edge of computer technology and yet claims to be unable to obtain a web cam in the particular back water where he lives ie. Berlin. So in answer to your question, having my picture taken holds no fears for me, although I wouldn't use my best camera to do it.

Hi Scott, First try shooting in a situation where window light or outdoor open shadow is available and the flash can be done without for you. Secondly a good photographer if told by a client that you blink can use a method where he tells you to close your eyes then you open them on his count, most times this will over come the blinking problem. Trust me you are not the only person that has to deal with it. It will all work out.

Only if I'm sitting on a "copy machine..."
Those things always make my buttocks look fatter than it really is...

It sometimes happens to the old people Tyler, don't be afraid. It's probably just your cataracts being extra sensitive to the flash.

No, but I'm always hoping that I don't close my eyes at the flash...man I have done that a ton in the past....
