Hoi An, Vietnam,
Its peaceful and stress free. Property is cheap and living expenses are very low. the banks pay 10% interest. The beach is great and my friends are loyal and interested in my welfare.
#1 reason. I don't have to listen to that Jack *** Bush on TV every other day.
that enough for you.

What is an "Expat?" I've only heard that from some western Europeans,........is it supposed to be an ex-patriot?
Anyways, I live in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Why?.....grew up near the city in a more suburban like town, moved to the city because I liked it, and lots of things to do. Always something happening, and the neighborhood I live in is nice. Everything I need is very close by (grocery store, bank, gas stations, shopping, all conveniences, etc..), and very close to Lake Michigan, which is nice in the summer. Also, only about an hour or so drive to Chicago from here.
Cost of living is not to bad either.
