yes, I even have straight friends

I don't care about my friends' sexual preferences

Thats like asking if I've ever be friends with someone who's African American, or Hispanic, Asian, or Caucasian.
Gay people and lesbians are just like anyone else...Just because they prefer a different sexuality doesn't make their personality any different.
Most of my best guy friends are gay. I have a few girl friends, that are lesbian. About 70% of my friends, aren't completely straight.
If you think there's something wrong with having friends who aren't just straight then maybe you should change the way you think. Because that kind of negativity is what brings such wrong into the world.
If you have no problem with it, then you'll be better off in life.

It relies upon. If we are speaking a pair of gay community center, a gsa, a charity, a faith, a cultural reveal or a fundraiser - we carry out. i've got attended gay church homes and belong to a community center close to me. with the aid of those connections, I certainly have lesbian friends. yet while i prefer to pass to bar to get adult men - then there are bars for that. and albeit, the girls individuals are no longer attracted to being there. Fag hags will pass to gay meat marketplace bars, yet no longer too many lesbians. adult men tend to pass out greater, women individuals tend to be greater homebodyish. except it extremely is an extremely huge city, you are able to no longer extremely have a strictly lesbian bar through fact no longer sufficient lesbians should help it. So in smaller towns you sometimes will in basic terms get a lesbian night as quickly as a month or each week or something like that through fact women individuals do no longer pass out as plenty. in the process the aids epidemic interior the eighty's it replaced into via some distance gay adult men who have been affected the main. Many lesbians got here to suggestions from gay adult men with hiv. If all you're seeing is the bar scene i might say you're seeing an incomplete photograph of the gay community. See the gay community centers and gay church homes and gay charitable motives. then you certainly will see all the l-g-b-t sectors working jointly.

I am gay so yeah lol. I hate the stereotype that if you're a gay guy and you have another guy friend that's gay that you guys must have dated and/or had sex at some point in time. Same thing with gay women that are friends.

Side note, granted a lot of the time this can be true, but not in all cases.

If they are nice people then there is no reason that I wouldn't be friends with anyone. I already have friends who are gay and lesbians and really have no issues with it.

Good luck to you

Of course. A lot of gay people have been subjected to years of riducule and hostility in their lives. Not always a nice thing, but it does tend to create some of the most open-minded, life-educated friends not boxed in with "normal" social attitudes.

Yes.
I have been blessed with good gay and lesbian friends. They have helped me and being there for me the times I have reached out to them, same as I have always been there for them.
I love, respect, and care for people regardless of their lifestyle, socioeconomic status, and beliefs.

Yes, of course. Just because I'm a Christian doesn't mean I can't be friends with them.

I know a part-timer at my work who's gay. He's a really nice guy, too.
