What would you think if you saw a text message on your boyfriend's phone that he sent to his ex saying?
" trick or treat........baby.....I miss you....." what would you think and how would you react?
I was looking at the phone because he just bought the new phone a few days ago and I was checking it out

A better idea than wondering how we would react would be to use his phone to text message YOUR ex boyfriend with the exact same message and see how your boyfriend reacts.

Be honest you were checking up on him. You dont have to go through message in the sent box to look at his new phone. We've all done it a time or two, I've learned not to do that but anyway, I really wouldnt have to think anything its right there in black and white for you. He misses his ex and probably would get back with her if it were possible. Now, you cant react because you shouldnt have looked in his phone and read the message. Play it cool until something else comes about (and it will) just have your eyes and ears open .

You should have a talk with him and ask him seriously if he's over his ex.
If he says not, be glad for his honesty, and give him 24 hours to cut things off, of let him face dumping.
If he says he is, take his word for it the first time. If its the second or third time he's done this, then split up with him.
If anything suspicious crops up again, then don't hesitate or be afraid to confront him about it. You'll probably be able to talk about it and sort things out, and make things back to normal again.

trust your instinct. My ex. of 2 years have been cheating on me with so many girls and he still comes back and beg for forgiveness.. He calls to tell me he's sorry and misses me. I don't think guys will ever change when they're like that. A cheater will always be a cheater. If he done it to you then it means he didn't love you to begin with. Don't listen to what they have to say or explain but look at their actions. It speaks louder than words.

Sounds like you don't have a healthy relationship here.
If you checked his phone and found this message, it means: a) he is not over his ex, and b) he doesn't respect you.
(He might have even done this on purpose so you WOULD find it and call it quits...!)
If you have some self-respect, end this now and walk away. You deserve someone better...Give yourself a chance to find him.

"I'm sorry that happen to you"! The question should be... how do you feel about him text messaging his ex, why and what are u going to do? For me it would be a wake-up call and I would leave him alone without explaining why!

I'd be pi%%ed off-- Not likely that it was the first time she's texted him, so even if he doesn't message back-(eventhough he probably does), he's still keeping it from you. Secrets equal snake. Tell him to slither his rear out the door.
