Every time i play my big bass drum in the loft ,People are knocking on my door.And telling me the time.

Why not buy a big clock and put it on the door then they wont have to bother you. People who dont appreciate loud drums are very silly. You could treat them to a cd of Phil Collins "In the Air" to educate them.

It is they are used to bells telling THEM THE TIME so drum high up confuses the simple folk of your parish

Telling you the time??? I'd be doing more than telling you the time - I'd make sure you were wearing your drums by placing them very forcefully over your head !!!!

Maybe your playing it to late at nite? I think your supose to only play loud music between 7.30am and 11pm, like your not supose to beep your car horn before 7.30 and after 11. Because people are sleeping and stuff.
