why would you give him boiled water? I assume you cool it down first. All that babies need at that age (until 6 months) is breast milk. So you do not need to be giving him anything else. Good luck!

Babies should not have water until they are around 5-6 months old, it deters the nutrients in the formula or breastmilk from being absorbed into the body.
Are you saying that you give water that has been cooled after being boiled or is it still hot? Never give a baby hot water, why would you do this? Who told you to do this?

No babies DON'T need water until 4-6 months when your Ped recommends it. At 7 weeks old they get ALL they need from breastmilk which is made mostly of water anyways. If you give your baby water it will replace what he should be taking milk and he won't gain weight properly if he is filling up on water instead of milk. If you need to give him something after feedings pump some milk and give him that or give him some formula.

Boiled water is not necessary! Breast milk has all of the appropriate nutrients a baby needs. Water has no nutritional value and no calories...it is just a waste to feed it to a newborn that is dependent on nutrients. The baby doesn't need anything other than that until he starts on baby food around 6 months. That is unless the pediatrician reccommends it.

So you're breastfeeding exclusively but, you give your baby water that has been boiled? I'm assuming that's it's cooled a bit before serving? It's simply a waste of time and NOT necessary breastmilk is perfect on it's own.... Your just giving your baby liquid/zero calories.. Filling him/her on water isn't a good idea... Stick with breastmilk.. Good luck

toddlers would not have water till they're around 5-6 months old, it deters the nutrition interior the formula or breastmilk from being absorbed into the physique. Are you asserting which you provide water that has been cooled after being boiled or is it nevertheless warm? under no circumstances provide a sprint one warm water, why could you are attempting this? Who informed you to do this?

Uh, no, he doesn't need water.

I have never seen any actual breastfeeding female ask so many repetitive questions about breastfeeding, too. And your baby was a month old just three days ago.

I'm just sayin'.

A baby who is breastfeeding on demand doesn't need any other liquids. They get all of their hydration from breastmilk. Infants are extremely prone to water intoxication, so I would avoid it unless a doctor recommended it.
