I've removed wallpaper as a business for a short time-UCK
you need to score the paper ( they sell these at the hardware store- we used just wire brushes- Mix a solution of fabric softener and hot water 1/2 and 1/2 and put in a spray bottle. Spray the walls and start peeling. You can soak a rag and rub the wallpapered walls as well but the spray bottle is less messy. We used a garden pump sprayer-keep it wet-every 5mins -respray- till it is all soaked--& scrape it off with a wide scraper
maybe they krazy glued it on!
