I just got this Troy-Bilt 23-HP V-Twin 50" Automatic Garden Tractor. I was test driving it around the yard and noticed the front tires point in. Being I have never had or ridden a ride mower before I don't know if this in normal. I tried to look it up in the book it came with and it did not show anything.

If the front tires on a riding mower are toed in enough to be readily visible that is to much and is not normal. It needs to be adjusted.

If the tires are pointed in at the front, then no, it's not normal, but if they are pointed in at the bottom, it could be normal. Some of the new tractors are coming out this way to make it easier to steer. Call the dealer you go it from and ask them. They should know.

It's called "Toe-In" and is normal.
