I have a problem with the rubber strips that are just above the windows. They look like the have grime on it, like the rubber is wearing away. Usually the rubber is smooth but on my car they are rough.

How can i fix this?

Please note: The car as whole was a very good bargain. It has warranty and the inside is in excellent condition. Its just that the rubber looks horrible.

You can't "undo" damage that has already occurred.

Replace it.

Go to JCWhitney.com and order new weather stripping for your doors. It won't be too expensive, and they usually have most makes in stock.
