The reason I ask is that I have a friend who claims that eating pigeon seven days in a row can kil you. I think this is b@&*$%£s and I want to be proved wrong if possible as it would be a fantastic piece of trivia were it true.

Squab can be prepared in a multitude of gourmet recipes. Check any French or Chinese cook book.

I ate a pigeon at a restaurant in China town, London. It was fully prepared, and tasted similar to duck. I didn't have any digestive problems! But i'm sure that it it was off the street, diseased and uncooked then yes there would be a chance it could kill me, especially if I ate one seven days in a row. Otherwise - cooked and clean - then no!

i have heard this as well, there is something in the meat i guess, but then look how filthy pigeons are, why would anyone want to eat one anyway!!

I think the reason is because your body cannot digest feathers
