I've tried it so many times and it's always worked except when I added and subtracted the numbers wrong.

Notice that celebrity #45 (my answer) changes with each game. Also notice that your many celebrities are are repeated.
The answer will always be divisible by 9, and the same celebrity will always be found at #9, #18, #27, etc., all numbers divisible by 9. The next game, a different celebrity will be found at these same numbers.
It's very clever, but it's still a trick.

Did not work except when I stopped my cursor over the number.

mostly its a probablitiy and mathematical thing, but it doesnt alwayys wrok. try it again, witht he same number, a few times in a row, it shouldnt work every time
