So (x-3)^2 is the same as (x-3)(x-3) = x^2 - 6x + 9
(-1)^2 is the same as (-1)(-1) = 1
So we get
x^2 - 6x + 9 + 1 = 10
x^2 - 6x + 10 = 10
x^2 - 6x = 0
x(x - 6) = 0
So x = 0 and x = 6, the answer is (0,6) will satisfy the equation.

Plug in to check
(-3)^2 + (-1)^2
9 + 1 = 10
10 = 10 So 0 satisfies it

(3)^2 + (-1)^2 = 10
9 + 1 = 10
10 = 10 So 6 satisfies it

(x-3)^2+(-1)=10

x^2-6x+9+1=10
x^2-6x+10=10
x^2-6x+10-10=10-10
x^2-6x=0
x(x-6)=0
x=0 x=6
