It is very thorough. Once you know the routes you can easily get anywhere in the city.

It's very easy to use. It's not always dependable or comfortable. The morning and evening rush can be bad depending on which MUNI line you take. You can be stuffed into the streetcars like sardines if the streetcars are not running on time or if one was taken out of service. I've found that there are many rude MUNI drivers and they are not good at telling you what's going when the bus is not going anywhere.

In the few times I have used it I have never had a problem.
